High-temperature sealing paste HTP 18499

HTP 18499 is a solvent-free, high-temperature-resistant sealing paste for applications up to 600°C. It is ideal for sealing and bonding in industrial plants, furnaces, exhaust systems, and heating equipment. After curing, it forms a ductile, water-repellent, and oil-resistant matrix.

    • Viscosity (at 20 °C): 114,000 ± 5,000 mPas
    • Density (at 20 °C): 1.62 ± 0.05 g/cm³
    • pH value: approx. 11–12
    • Temperature resistance: permanent up to 600 °C
    • Shelf life: 6 months (in unopened container)

  • Special features

    • Solvent-free, pasty, and ductile curing.
    • Suitable for sealing and bonding mineral, ceramic, and metallic materials.
    • Resistant to oil and gasoline, water-repellent (not permanently waterproof).
    • Dries at room temperature, accelerated by heat (initially max. 60–80 °C).
    • Ideal for industrial plants, furnaces, exhaust systems, heaters, etc.
    • Uncured residues can be cleaned with water.
