Sealing putty DK 49
DK 49 is a reliable sealant for applications with high temperatures and flexible requirements. It is ideal for sealing cast iron boilers and other areas where crack-free bridging of wide joints, water resistance, and environmental compatibility are required. The sealant remains flexible up to 150°C and is temperature-resistant up to 300°C.

- Viscosity (at 20 °C): 86,000 ± 7,000 mPas
- Density (at 20 °C): 1.76 ± 0.05 g/cm³
- pH value: approx. 10
- Temperature resistance: permanent up to 300 °C, flexible up to 150 °C
- Shelf life: 6 months (in unopened container)

- Based on natural raw materials (chalk, talc, linseed oil, etc.)
- Good flexibility up to 150 °C
- Crack-free joint bridging and good water resistance
- Suitable for sealing cast iron boilers
- Curing at room temperature, accelerated by moderate heat
- Processing on porous or open surfaces recommended
- Cleaning with water possible as long as not yet cured
